Abby Rose Chenard is a dance artist based in Queens, NY, specializing in choreography, performance, and teaching. They trained in various dance styles in Philadelphia, including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and tap. Abby Rose moved to New York at 18 to attend Marymount Manhattan College, earning a B.F.A. in dance performance and choreography in 2021. At Marymount, they performed works by Sidra Bell, Adam Barruch, Andrea Miller, and Jessica Lang.

After graduating, Abby Rose joined the artist collective VERBAL ANIMAL, contributing to works like Symphonic Anchoring and Triptych, Mirrored. They now focus on their own creative work, presenting performances at venues across New York City, including Arts On Site and Triskelion Arts.

In addition to their own projects, Abby Rose has performed and collaborated with choreographers like Nathaniel Hunt, Serena Wolman, Taylor Hollingsworth, and others over the past six years. They've also worked as an associate for the Kiss My Face dance festival. Their career has taken them around the world, performing in New York City and throughout Europe, including France, Berlin, and Italy.

Abby Rose is dedicated to creating safe, healthy dance education environments. With experience teaching modern, ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and acrobatic techniques, they began teaching at 15 and have since developed practices for students of all ages. Abby Rose currently teaches students from four years old to professional dancers, focusing on making dance training joyful and grounded.
